“When I attended High School, I used to be part of the Theater Club. I performed in the stage productions of ‘Princess Bride’ and ‘Footloose’. I knew I wasn’t a good actor but something about performing and being a part of production drew me in. My favourite part of the entire process was the rehearsal and pre-production of a play or show.
Soon after I graduated from school I got a job at a law firm. For two years I sat at a desk, buried underneath piles of papers confused about what I wanted to do. I always had a vision, I envisioned myself standing on a stage accepting an academy award. I didn’t know what the award was for – Best Actor? Best Screenplay? Best Director? I wasn’t sure but it was around that time I quit my job and began to discover what it was that I was good at. About two years later I began writing and wrote my first short film. It was an exhilarating experience, writing a story and seeing it come to life on screen. Today I am on my fourth production and am gearing up to make my directorial debut on a very special film I am currently writing.”
