Cretan students raise Greek flag at British Museum

As a stance against the marbles from the Parthenon being displayed at the British Museum, Cretan students who visited the site last week raised the Greek flag in front of the pieces.

The students along with their teachers Manos Kalogerakis and Eva Tsagarakis, visited the space where the marbles are presently kept and didn’t shy away from raising the Greek flag, with a clear message that they should promptly be returned to Greece.

The teaches stated, “All the students were overwhelmed with emotion and teared up wondering when the marbles will be returned to their home.”
