Kyriakos Mitsotakis, leader of opposition party New Democracy, during his trip to Israel met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and discussed economic cooperation and investments between the two countries.
Both men reaffirmed the healthy bilateral relationship between Greece and Israel and expressed their satisfaction for the closer ties. Israel and Greece have explored greater political and commercial cooperation since the rapprochement between the two countries which was adopted by all the Greek governments in the last few years.
“We discussed particularly the economic cooperation between Greece and Israel. A cooperation which can lead to significant investments from Israel to Greece, at a time when our country needs to attract foreign investment,” said Mitsotakis.
