NBA players begin military service in Greece

Brothers Giannis (known as the Greek Freak) and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (referred to as Greek Freak 2)  have taken a break from their successful  NBA careers to begin their mandatory military service in Greece.

Dressed in their army gear Milwaukee Bucks player, Giannis, and Thanasis of the Westchester Knicks, yesterday both started their three-months of service that all Greek male citizens living overseas are required to perform.

They definitely chose the best time to do it, as they are also enjoying the peak of the Mediterranean summer.

They are reportedly completing their service at an armour training centre.

But because they are professional athletes they could have their three-months terms cut down so they can get back to the training court to prepare for the season.
