Roma defender Kostas Manolas has turned down a deal to stay with the Serie A giants, opening the door for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester united to battle for the Greek centre-back.

According to British media, Greece defender Kostas Mamolas is being poached by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

The centre-back's contract doesn't run out until 2019, but he's refused to extend his current deal, which is being viewed as an indication that he wants a move.

His agent has admitted Manolas rejected a £2.3 million-per-season contract to stay in the capital city. "It’s true, I can confirm we have not agreed a contract renewal with Roma," Iannis Evangelopoulos told Italian reporters.

"Could Manolosreach it over the next few weeks? I doubt we will," he added.

Manolas has already made 86 appearances in his two seasons with Roma after his £12.5m move there from Olympiacos.

He's also won 23 caps for the Greece national team.
