Greek design Studio NL are masterminds behind the Nap Bed

It’s no secret the people of Greece love their afternoon siesta, so it comes as no surprise that a Greek design company- Studio NL- are the masterminds behind the Nap Bed- a sleek-looking work station (‘1.6 S.M of Life’) which doubles as a bed for those days when one needs a quick nap at the office.

The designers created this innovative desk back in 2012 and images only went viral late last year when the media caught on to this cool concept.

“Our desk could be used for a siesta or for a few hours of sleep at night, on those days when someone struggles to meet deadlines,” the designers stated.

At first glance, the modern piece of furniture looks like your typical office desk, but once you pull down the side panels, it reveals a cosy little sleeping spot.

The end of the box also folds out so you can lay comfortably with your head propped up - and the top of the desk still remains the same so it’s not so obvious that you are taking a nap.

With so many people around the world practically living at their desks- this is a dream come true.
