Stefanidi in running for Female Athlete of the Year

Greece's golden girl Ekaterini Stefanidi, who won Gold in the pole vault in Rio with 4.85m- to add to her European title- is in the running for Female Athlete of the Year 2016 in the European Athletics Organisation's annual competition.

The “European Athletics Golden Tracks” is the award given annually to the men’s and women’s European Athletes of the Year and Rising Stars. You can vote for your female European Athlete of the Year 2016 by liking and sharing the photos on their Facebook page-

Stefanidi is currently sitting at first place but competition closes on the 5th of October so there is still plenty of time to vote.
