We are all quite familiar with the world map- but this here looks very different, as this map of the world has been been resized according to where people prefer to spend their time travelling and Greece has come in at second place worldwide.
The unique map was recently produced by travel agency Travel Republic, which calculated the dimensions of the countries based on the most searched-for destinations across the globe and reveals what the world would look like if it was resized based on the monthly average search volumes for these particular destinations.
The top five places people are heading to- according to searches- Travel Republic said are: Cuba, Greece, Mexico, Spain and Thailand.
This is not surprising for those who have spent time in Greece and know it is an amazing destination all year round- offering the best there is in history, arts, culture, gastronomy and much more.
