The Myconian Collection of Hotels, Resorts & Villas has won the 2016 Classic Europe Hotel Chain of the Year Award organised by Classic Vacations, a leading international provider of luxury wholesale travel.
The 2016 Classic Europe Annual Awards, were presented during a special event held earlier this month at the Hotel Barriere Le Majestic in Cannes.
The Myconian Collection is a local family-owned group of nine leading luxury hotels on the popular island- offering guests first class facilities and views. Founded in 1979 by George and Elefteria Daktylides, the Collection is currently managed by their four sons Panos, Marcos, Vangelis and Marios.
Some of their hotels and resorts include- Myconian Imperial, Myconian Royal, Myconian Avaton and Myconian Villas.
Further south is the Myconian Ambassador Relais & Chateaux. While in Mykonos Town, on the very site that the group’s founder elected for his first hotel, stands a unique portfolio of luxury lifestyle resorts including the five-star Myconian Kyma Design Hotel Starwood, Myconian Naia and Myconian Korali Relais & Chateaux.
