As the world still comes to terms with the death of singing sensation George Michael, many people are also today sharing the acts of kindness made by the singer.

It is reported that George Michael secretly gave away huge amounts of money to people in need - including thousands of dollars to a lady he saw on TV who wanted to undergo IVF and a 5 thousand pound tip to a barmaid who had a student nurse debt.

Details of the singer's donations and secret acts of kindness were made public following his death from what his publicist has said was suspected heart failure at his home in Oxfordshire yesterday.

TV presenter Richard Osman revealed on his Twitter account that Michael had called a woman who appeared on Deal or No Deal to give her the money she needed for IVF treatment.

Osman tweeted: 'A woman on 'Deal Or No Deal' told us she needed £15k for IVF treatment. George Michael secretly phoned the next day and gave her the £15k.'

Another journalist also tweeted that the star had given a barmaid a huge tip after learning she was a student nurse who had large debts. It is said he would often give away large sums to people he met undergoing difficult circumstances.

The star donated millions from some of his biggest selling singles and made huge donations to Childline, HIV organisations, the Terrence Higgins Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and to lots more health and charity organisations worldwide.

He also held many free concerts, including one for nurses in North London and made many appearances to help charities raise money.

His generous donations have led some to speculate many charities may receive some of  his estimated £100million fortune.
