The Milwaukee Bucks are in awe of their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo and are also aware of his passion for Greece! So much so that at yesterday’s home game they dished up Giannis' favourite food- Souvlaki, in honour of him.
They served not only a simple souvlaki stick, but a traditional souvlaki wrapped in pita bread with tzatziki and the lot to fans that arrived to watch the Bucks take on the Houston Rockets.
Before each home game, Bucks prepare a special dish to serve to their loyal fans and this time it was one that is by far Greece’s best known street food worldwide.
Giannis has made it very well known that he craves Souvlaki on a regular basis and would love for a good Souvlaki shop to open up in Milwaukee.
The Bucks beat the Rockets 127-114 and Giannis was the leading scorer with 31 points, including an incredible 3-point shot in the last few seconds of the game.
