The Togas Group Company is a pioneer in textiles, originating in Greece and dating from the early 1900s.
Their fine products exude impeccable style in the world of home textiles. Rich in tradition and heritage they use only the highest quality fabrics and materials to produce a full range of products for the entire house.
For almost 100 years, expertise and knowledge of the textile industry has been passed down for three generations of family business and they are now a global company with offices in Greece, Russia, China, UAE, Turkey, and India.
Specialising in stunning homewares, they recently opened their first store in the United States and chose Greenwich otherwise known as "the village" in New York as their prime location.
Using in-house designers, they offer a complete assortment of bedding, terry products, sleeping products, table linen, decorative accessories, curtains and home fragrances as well as a bespoke service with made-to-measure fabric collections found in their 120 Togas boutiques and 57 bespoke Togas Couture Interior boutiques.
The family-owned company began after the end of World War I with Ilias Togas in southern Greece and its founder first made a name for himself by crafting high-quality uniforms and frock coats for Greek army officers. His marriage to the daughter of an Austrian textile manufacturer in 1942 solidified the birth of Togas House of Textiles.
The company has since grown to 120 boutiques around the world, including Armenia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
The front of the New York store boasts several bedding displays surrounded with floor-to-ceiling built-in racks showing off its range of towels, table linens, bedding, bathrobes and curtains. The fabrics include soft tones and vibrant colours with stand out designs, catering to all tastes and styles.
