France’s PM in Greece on official visit

The French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve arrived in Greece, yesterday Thursday, accompanied by French Economy and Finance Minister Michel Sapin and Secretary of State for European Affairs Harlem Desir.

Cazeneuve will have meetings with his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras in the Maximos Mansion, followed by a working dinner, joined by the Greek and French ministers of finance, economy and European affairs.

The French Prime Minister is expected to take part in a meeting  organised by France’s immigration and integration service (OFII) regarding the asylum seekers that are due to be relocated to France in March, at the Novotel Hotel in Athens.

Finance Minister Michel Sapin is scheduled to meet the Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras including a morning meeting with his Greek counterpart Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and with Economy and Development Minister Dimitri Papadimitriou.
