Former reality television star Georgia Tripos has been charged with drug trafficking, with police alleging her and her friend Kristiana Karakostas, have been running a syndicate.
Tripos, who proudly calls herself a “second generation Australian-Greek” is a former contestant on The Bachelor and has been charged with trafficking the drug ice and cocaine following her arrest yesterday afternoon.
The 25-year-old appeared on the television show last year, in an attempt to find love with bachelor Richie Strahan.
Karakostas was arrested at the Mount Waverley real estate agency in Melbourne where they work together and Tripos was later arrested at a residential address.
Police allege the former contestant and her co-accused were running a syndicate, selling drugs online on Craigslist.
Tripos’ lawyer said the 25-year-old has had no previous issues with the law.
She was granted bail to live with her mother and stepfather in North Balwyn.
She is due to face court on July 7.
