A Greek military helicopter has tragically crashed at Sarantaporos in the Elassona region of Greece, leaving four army officers dead and a lady officer seriously injured.
The Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) reported that on board of the UH-1H were five army officers. The helicopter in Northern Greece, which disappeared from the radar was on a scheduled flight from Larissa to Kozani, when at 7:50 am it lost communication.
The helicopter was found just after 10:30 am near Sarantaporos and a rescue mission team rushed to find the passengers.
Four were tragically killed and a woman has been left in a serious condition.
No further information has been released about the cause of the crash.
