Eurobank have announced that the Athenian neoclassical gem King George Hotel is up for sale and interested parties are invited to submit their bids by noon Monday, June 12.
This historic 9,450m2 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of Athens dates back to the 1930s, has 102-rooms, and consists of three underground levels, a ground floor, a mezzanine, eight storeys and a rooftop.
Eurobank had leased the hotel to Lampsa SA in 2012 for a 20-year period. The hotel, right next to the Hotel Grande Bretagne also owned by Lampsa SA, opened to the public in 2013. That same year, in partnership with Lampsa SA, Starwood launched King George as a Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts member.
