The  much loved Athens Open Air Film Festival co-organised by the City of Athens Cultural, Sport and Youth Organization, is back for its 7th edition, with more than 20 screenings, from June to September.

Special spots at archaeological sites, parks, squares, beaches, museums and other places around the city are set to turn into open-air cinemas with free entrance for everyone.

This year, the 7th Athens Open Air Film Festival, in collaboration with the British Council, has chosen a series of films in the genre of British gothic horror.

There will also be lots of drama movies, award-winning masterpieces from all over the world and of course many Greek films, which will all be accompanied by live music and other entertainment.

Films begin at sunset and will take place between June – July at 9:30pm and August - September at 9pm.
