Greece is set to make its grand presence felt at The Australian Federation of Travel (AFTA) Industry Awards tonight, as AFTA together with the Greek National Tourism Organisation will be welcoming guests to the 10th anniversary of the National Travel Industry Awards Gala Dinner at the International Convention Centre in Darling Horbour, Sydney.

“30 Million tourists are predicted to visit Greece over the next 12 months. It is a wonderful destination that all Australian’s must experience at some point in their travelling life. It is a vibrant destination with so much for travellers to see and do. I have no doubt guests will enjoy the experience as soon as they set foot inside the International Convention Centre tonight,” said AFTA Chief Executive Jayson Westbury.

Greece is a tiny country with a big embrace. A destination where life never sleeps, there is always something magical to experience. The ANZACs came in their tens of thousands to defend democracy all those years ago and today we warmly welcome Australian travellers to come and enjoy life as never before”.

Gala Dinner Guests are invited to arrive from 5pm to enjoy the welcome function in the Grand Ballroom area on Level 5, of the International Convention Centre Sydney. Formalities will begin at 6pm sharp.
