A magistrate in Piraeus issued arrest warrants on Tuesday for two Turkish nationals involved in the shipment of heroin in 2014.

It is alleged that the two Turks were involved in organising and funding the transport of two tons of heroin found on the "Noor1" tanker in 2014.

The two individuals were named by convicted businessman Efthimis Giannousakis, who is serving time for crimes related to the case. One of those charged owns a restaurant chain in Britain.

According to the sources, the two Turks are said to have met in Istanbul with Giannousakis, who secretly videotaped them.
