BAKALAKI Greek restaurant in the heart of fancy food strip in Tiong Bahru has been voted by Tripadvisor as the number one restaurant in Singapore.

BAKALAKI Greek Taverna is a new restaurant and deli that uses ingredients direct from Greece.

Those who love their traditional Greek cuisine can get their fix of Tzatziki, Moussaka, Dolmades, Keftedes, Gemista, Htapodi and other seafood platters, that feature seafood flown in from the Mediterranean.

For dessert there is homemade Baklava, Loukoumades or Rizogalo, plus traditionally made Greek coffee and the wine list includes an array of Grecian whites and reds, which will satisfy all palettes.

The restaurant prides itself on its in-house Bakalaki Extra Virgin Olive Oil, made from cold-pressed olives from Koroneiki trees.

Executive chef Spiros Palaiologos brings the heart and soul of Greece to the BAKALAKI kitchen, with over 20 years of experience. He grew up in the port town of Piraeus, before starting his culinary career in local restaurants around Greece.
