The beautiful town of Trikala is very popular around winter season and especially at Christmas time, so it’s no wonder it boasts the tallest Christmas tree in Greece and this year is no exception!
On Saturday afternoon, at the centre of the town square, the lights were lit and the star was placed on top of the 30 metre tall tree and locals gathered to welcome the festive season for the year of 2017.
Trikala, is a city in northwestern Thessaly, Greece, and the capital of the Trikala region and is stunning all year round.
