Athens’ historic Hotel Grande Bretagne, located in the centre of Greece’s capital city has been included in the 2018 Gold List in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) publication, which features the best hotels in the world.
“This is our list of the best hotels in the world, the ones we keep coming back to time and again. It’s our love letter to the hotels that make us feel sexier, smarter, flirtier…that make us walk with a little more swagger and remind us who we want to be and how we want to live,” says CNT.
“This year’s Gold List of our editors’ favorite hotels in the world spans six continents and 54 countries. They’re the hotels we return to time and again, and daydream about long after we’re home. They’re the best in the world,” they add.
Hotel Grande Bretagne was named as one of the “Favorite Hotels in the World” as voted by its travel editors.
Situated in the capital’s historic centre since 1874, it’s within walking distance of exclusive boutiques, museums and the CBD.
This luxury hotel is 1 km from both the Acropolis and the Parthenon, and 2 km from the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Here you will also find three leading Athenian restaurants, including an exclusive rooftop bar and cigar lounge.
