History took place today when Greece's Presidential Guard marched from North Bondi RSL through to Bondi Pavilion in Sydney, Australia.
Bondi was packed with onlookers who came to witness the Evzones last official march in Sydney for 2018 and were blown away by every step they took towards Sydney's most iconic beach.
The Evzones made their way across and stood in front of the sandy beach and lifesavers, giving the large crowd an opportunity to take photos of this momentous occasion.
Many Greek families, including grand parents, parents and children were there with their Greek flags and pride, cheering on the elite Presidential Guard.
With the Evzones standing in front of the Pavilion steps, there was a welcome to the country and offical speeches by Member of NSW Legislative Council Courtney Houssos, Australian Senator Matt Thistlethwaite and Consulate General of Greece in Sydney, Christos Karras, as well as singing of both the Australian and Greek national anthem.
