Ever wanted to start your own business on a stunning beach in Greece? Now is your time, as the government is in the process of tendering off the use of public beaches, the Finance Ministry said on Friday.
From hiring out sun beds, to opening up cafes, restaurants or bars along the beach, people are being given the opportunity to start up a business by the seaside.
The online process commenced mid April and more than 90 beaches have already been awarded to businesses that have requested to use the area.
Another 130 beaches will be tendered off soon, the Ministry added.
