Beaches around Greece this weekend are packed with locals and tourists, who are enjoying the Aegean sea and sun, with temperatures in the Peloponnese reaching 33 degrees Celsius (91.4 Fahrenheit) on Saturday and expected to remain the same for today.

Temperatures are expected to soar in Greece over the next few days, climbing as high as 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 Fahrenheit) on Wednesday in many parts of Greece’s mainland, particularly in the southwestern Peloponnese, in what is forecast to be the first mini-heat wave of the year.

The weather has been a dream for international visitors who are already making their way around Greece’s mainland and islands, enjoying their Greek summer holiday for 2018.
