After an outstanding few years, Anna Korakakis has once again done Greece proud as she is now ranked number one in the world by ISSF in Women’s Air Pistol, in both the 10 metre and 25 metre categories.
“I thank once again the best coach, Tasos Korakakis, the result is a reflection of his great work,” said Anna of her father, who is also her trainer.
The gold medalist from Rio de Janeiro was first in the 25m category with 1827 degrees. Serbian Zorana Arunovich climbed to 2nd place from 9th place, with 1384 points, while China's Yushi Yao is the third in the world with 1283 points.
On the 25 metre category the Olympic Champion has managed to score 1827 points in the special rating system and is followed by Serbian Zorana Arunovich with 1384, while Youssi Yao is in third place with 1283.
