President Trump expected to stop over in Crete

United States President Donald Trump is said to be making a brief stop at the NATO base in Souda Bay, Crete as he heads to Singapore on June 12th for a summit, where he will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

No further details were available regarding the visit, which is expected to take place in the next couple of days, and it was not clear whether Trump would speak with the American forces at the base or whether Air Force One would be making a simple refueling stop.

Reports claim preparations are under way at the Hellenic Navy base to accommodate the US President, in case he does make a visit there.
