An African King from the Ivory Coast was baptised into the Holy Greek Orthodox Church in Mount Athos on the 7th June 2018.
The King known as Tribal King Tchiffi Zae Jean Gervais of the Krou chieftains in Côte d’Ivoire, was baptised at the Monastery of Koutloumousiou by Hieromonk Dionysius, with the Christian name of David.
He is the Permanent Secretary-General of the Forum of Kings, Princes and Traditional African Leagues and also the Prime Chancellor of the United Kingdoms of Africa, which is a non-political, social development advocacy platform which functions in support of Presidency and National Government, institutions and peoples to support the National Development Plans.
