The International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) has named Greek bottled water THEONI as the best in the world, awarding them with yet another Gold Quality Award, making it their 16th international accolade to date.
THEONI Natural Mineral Water was awarded for the fifth consecutive year with one of the most distinguished International Awards for Taste, the “iTQi Superior Taste Award". The leading International Taste & Quality Institute, based in Brussels, features and rewards food and drink of superior taste and quality from all over the world.
Founded in 1996, THEONI entered dynamically in the bottled water market in 2013, with the construction of the most modern Greek bottling facility of the natural mineral water “Theoni” in Vatsounia, in the prefecture of Karditsa.

The "iTQi High Taste Awards" are awarded by a panel of judges of the organisation made up of distinguished chefs and awarded with Michelin stars, from 17 different countries and members of prestigious European restaurants. Judges blindly test each product according to strict organoleptic analysis rules and sensory criteria such as odor, appearance, taste, aftertaste, texture, and more.
