Greece’s weather is expected to return back to sunny and normal for this time of year, as the barometric low ‘Nefeli’, which caused heavy rainfalls and thunder is on its way out.

Temperatures around Athens are set to reach 29C today, and 30C on Saturday and Sunday and all next week, with clear, sunny skies.

In other parts of Greece today, clouds and temperatures will be recorded between 18C and 27C in the northern parts of Greece; 18C to 27C in the western and eastern parts. Mostly fair over the Aegean islands and Crete, 21C-29C and clear skies in Thessaloniki, 19C-26C.

This of course is music to the ears of international visitors who are ready to enjoy their summer holiday and expected to hit the beaches in record numbers this weekend.
