"The agreement on Skopje will not be signed without the decision of the Greek people," said Greece’s Defence Minister Panos Kammenos today at a Press Conference held in Athens, adding that "the Greek people will decide. This will be done either by voting, by referendum or by elections. "
Kammenos also said to the media, "The deal for me is bad, I do not accept it, and I will try to block it."
“The draft agreement has no weight and commitment until its signed in Parliament. All other conditions of the agreement are conditions that Skopje must fulfil."
According to the Defense Minister, FYROM will not be given an invitation to the NATO summit on 11 and 12 July, until the agreement is signed by the Greek Parliament.
"There can be no process in NATO if the referendum does not end in FYROM, and if the agreement is not passed by the Greek Parliament," Kammenos said, and continued, "Even this signing in Skopje is not valid because it does not bear the signature of their President Gjorge Ivanov.
