Under the beautiful woven beach umbrellas of Principote at Panormos, Mykonos, Greek City Times caught up with the beautiful Melbourne-based milliner Irene May.
Greek-American founder of IM Designs, Irene creates hand crafted, bespoke headpieces and race-wear, custom made to order.
Irene started IM Designs four years ago as a passion project. Her stunning pieces provide the perfect finishing touch to make any outfit race ready and are guaranteed to impress even the most diehard Fashion on the Fields fans.
Irene’s mother came from Tripoli and her father was born in Lefkada and whilst she grew up in Chicago herself, Irene spent two months of summer every year in Greece with her grandparents and cousins.
This Greek summer, after her stay in Mykonos, Irene will head to Athens to spend some treasured time with her family in Athens, before returning to Melbourne in Australia, the place that she now calls home.
