This chic restaurant and bar is located on the top of a recently renovated century old building, designed by German architect Ziller. The interesting design is felt as soon as you walk through the doors on the ground level. At the back there is a spiral staircase that leads you to the top floor and into a small and cosy place, offering indoor and outdoor seating with a scenic view.
You are guaranteed a fine experience as you find yourself in an urban paradise of unique glamour, with unobstructed views to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens and the Acropolis.
Not to mention the roof garden, which is romantic, cozy and hip. It is the perfect spot to have breakfast (if you are staying at the hotel underneath), lunch, dinner, drinks or cocktails.
The food is also a great reason to visit this spot. Our picks from the menu include the Grilled Pie (filled with lamb, wild greens and sheep’s milk yougurt), Squid Ink “Trahanas” (with fresh cuttlefish and florina pepper cream) or the Braised Lamb (with smoked aubergine puree, roasted cherry tomatoes and black garlic). And who can resist dessert? Their chilled strawberry soup with lemon verbena, lime sorbet and spearmint syrup is a must!
