More than 5000 Golden visas to Greece net billion euros

Greece's golden visa programme has netted more than 1.5 billion euros since its inception in 2012 said Elias Athanasiou CEO Enterprise Greece on Thursday.
The Golden Visa programme is offered to foreigners who invest in real estate with more than 250,000 euros and according to Athanasiou is proving a success with demand growing from 400 annually to now 50 daily.
The majority of applications are from Asian (Chinese), Arab and Russian investors with more than 5,000 Golden Visas issued since the programme began in 2012
