An online e-ticketing service allowing visitors to purchase tickets to Greece's museums, monuments and archaeological sites in advance via the internet is now available, the Culture Ministry announced on Thursday.
During the pilot phase of its introduction, the service will initially be available for selected venues only (Acropolis, archaeological sites in the historic centre of Athens, Knossos, Iraklion Archaeological Museum, Messini archaeological site and museum).
The ministry said that a working group has been set up to monitor the operation of the system, which was financed by donations from the National Bank of Greece and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The service is available at the website etickets.tap.gr
