Wildfire breaks in the village of Kalamaki in Zakynthos

A large fire has broken out in the village of Kalamaki in the Vrontonero area in Zakynthos. According to reports, the fire started in two separate areas, with one burning closer to the village.
According to the Greek Fire Brigade, there are currently 17 firefighters with 8 fire trucks, an Erickson helicopter and two aircrafts.
Thankfully the fire is currently not threatening residential areas, although the intensity of the flames are assisted by the strong winds.
