Another horrific and devastating family tragedy has developed after Margarita, wife of the firefighter who lost their 6-month-old baby to the wildfires last week in Mati, has also lost her battle for life after being in critical condition with severe burns and respiratory problems caused by the deadly flames.
The baby boy was one of the first confirmed dead in what is now referred to as Greece's "Black Monday" and now sadly the firefighter has also lost his wife, left grieving for both.
Margarita was in the hospital in Intensive Care since last week and could not pull through, after her horrific experience of trying to save both her son and herself, while her husband was in the line of duty desperately trying to put out the flames.
