Golden girl Stefanidi qualifies first for Pole Vault Final at European Championships

Three Greek female athletes will take part in the final of the Pole Vault at the 24th European Track and Field Championship in Berlin.

Gold medalist and leading athlete Katerina Stefanidi has qualified first and Nikoleta Kyriakopoulou and Eleni-Klaoudia Polak will also be representing Greece in the final, as they made it in the top 12.

Stefanidi was the only one to exceed the 4.55m jump, while Kyriakopoulou and Polak qualified with 4.45m.

The final will be held on Thursday.
