Greece wins Gold at World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships

Greece’s talented swimmer Dimosthenis Michalentzakis won gold in the Men's 200m Individual Medley SM8 Final event during day one of the World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

20-year-old Michalentzakis had an outstanding performance after qualifying with a time of 2: 34.14 and in the final finished with a time of 2: 25.42.

After his gold medal in the 100m butterfly at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio, this is another huge success for the 20-year-old athlete.
