Thessaloniki Fair

The Greek police stole the show on Saturday at the Thessaloniki trade fair, as they impressed the crowds with their latest skills to combat terrorism.

Opening the doors to the stand of the police's information centre, specially trained members from EKAM, the police's anti-terrorist unit, climbed down the outside of the 76 metre OTE tower in an exhibition of skills and abilities.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Citizen Protection Minister Olga Gerovassili were among the large crowd that had gathered to watch the impressive police operation.
