Free language lessons for children of low income families

The Municipality of Lagada in Thessaloniki is offering scholarships for foreign language education to children from low income families in co-operation with its Foreign Language Centre.

"Our programme of free access to foreign language learning, which is in its third year, aims to ensure equal learning opportunities for all children of the Municipality," according to the announcement of the Municipality of Lagada.

The provision includes continuing education in the next grade for scholarship children who successfully completed the first year and new places for children born in 2011, 2010 and 2009 that are not enrolled in any foreign languages centres.

The deadline for submitting applications and filing the necessary supporting documents closes on Friday 28 September 2018.
