Hollywood heartthrob Matthew McConaughey was a recent guest on popular American television show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and spoke about his love of Greece after a holiday on the Aegean over summer, revealing to a worldwide audience that the entire family loved it so much they extended their getaway to enjoy more of the Cyclades.
The star of ‘Magic Mike’, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ ‘A Time to Kill’, and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,’ told Jimmy how he had an amazing time on the Greek islands, travelling around with his wife Camila Alves, their children, Matthew’s mother and his father in law, making it a real family affair.
The A-list actor stayed in Antiparos with fellow actor Woody Harrelson's family and they rented a house together, enjoying a relaxed Greek lifestyle filled with lots of sun, swimming, good food, and laughs.
“We were there (in Greece) 3 weeks in paradise, we had freedom, the water is amazing, Greece is just beautiful it’s inherently generous. The sea doesn’t bite, the air doesn’t bite, the land doesn’t bite. It’s beautiful. People love family, we had a great three weeks and decided when it was time to go, we weren’t ready to leave so we said let’s do this another week, let’s stay in paradise another week and we all agreed,” said Matthew.
