The luxurious Grace Santorini has received the 2018 Top Mediterranean Resort Award, given by the organisers of the Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum (MR&H).
Organised by Questex Hospitality Group, the MR&H Forum is the Mediterranean’s meeting place for mixed-use resort, hotel investmen, and development. The Top Mediterranean Resort Awards were created to recognise outstanding mixed-use resorts and developments across the region.
The stunning hotel is carved out of a clifftop on Greece’s most romantic island. Tottering up the cliff face, the hotel is steeply spread over different levels, with views of Skaros Rock's good side and a fab restaurant taking up its own floor. There is also a lengthy infinity pool by the terrace where you can enjoy some cocktails by night.
Grace Santorini was named the winner of the Top Mediterranean Resort that is currently in operation, while Fouka Bay on the North Coast of Egypt was announced winner of the Top Mediterranean Resort that is currently in development.
The public vote declared the resorts as winners of the 2018 awards.
“We are thrilled that Grace Santorini has been voted Top Mediterranean Resort 2018. To win such an accolade is testament to the continuous hard work of each and every colleague towards creating a memorable experience for our guests. We are immensely proud to see the hotel continue to shine in this very competitive marketplace," said Lena Livanidou, Head of Europe, Grace Hotels.
