Greece’s Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is scheduled for successive meetings with Bank of America Merrill Lynch executives and Morgan Stanley executives in New York today.
According to government sources, in the series of contacts that the Greek Prime Minister will have with executives from the leading US banking institutions, he "will present data which demonstrate the strong growth potential of the Greek economy as well as the possibilities for stable and unhindered access for the country in the international money markets."
The same government sources say the economic issues are a priority for the Greek PM's agenda whilst in New York, with particular emphasis to be placed on investment.
