No joke, Greek Oxygen is conveniently packed in a can so now you can take some Greek air with you everywhere you go.
The company launched the product in June of 2016 and the concept behind it, according to the Greek Oxygen team was to create a souvenir that contained the blue of the sea and the sky, the culture and history of Greece.
“Basically, you can take it with you wherever you go, as Greek Oxygen is a can which holds Greek air of the sea, the blue of the sky and the sea,” they say.
The specific product engages a new souvenir line which combines both the Greek culture and the definition of the gift itself.
It’s a product, completely new in the souvenirs’ line for those who want to take a ‘part’ of Greece back home with them.
Retailing at 3.50 euros per can, and mostly selling through their online store, they have also started a campaign with hotels, resorts and cruise ships and the product is now available in Crete, Rhodes, Santorini, Kefalonia, and many more islands.
“It is a product, completely new in the souvenirs’ line for those who want to take a ‘part’ of Greece back home. It’s a keepsake, a remembrance, a tell-tale sign that someone has visited Greece. It is a must-have souvenir, a gift that will mean the most when the visitor gets home,” says the marketing manager Greek Oxygen.
“It is innovative and humorous. Of course, we don’t go to Olympus to gather air. The air, naturally, finds its way in the cans and we just seal them. The can is easy to transport and safe. Nothing will happen to it in a suitcase or in an airplane,” they add.
