A headless body in advanced sepsis was discovered yesterday afternoon by officers of the Flisvos Harbor Authority in the sea area near the marina of the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF), at the mouth of Kifissos River, between the sea and the rocky rugged point.
The body was dressed with blue jeans and black and white shoes, lacked a torso and upper limbs while it was being dislodged by the Fire Brigade.
In addition, underwater investigations were conducted by members of the Underwater Missions Unit of the Hellenic Coast Guard in the hope of discovering further clues.
A necroscopy has been ordered at the Athens morgue by the 1st Flisvos Port Authority of Saronikos Port Authority who is leading the investigations.
