ECOCITY Forum 2018 starts in Thessaloniki

The Hellenic Hoteliers Federation (HHF) said in an announcement that it invests in the Greek tourism's extroversion and supports the major international fairs, protects the environment, the cyclical economy and the sustainable growth.

HHF participates in the International conference "ECOCITY FORUM 2018" on cyclical economy in the smart cities that started on Wednesday and will end on Friday at the Concert Hall of Thessaloniki.

The conference is organised by ECOCITY under the scientific support of Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki under the auspices of the President of Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos.

Top representatives of agencies play a key role in the formation of the European policy as the European Environmental Agency (EEA), the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the World Tourism Organisation (WTO), will participate in the agency.

The president of HHF board Grigoris Tasios will represent the federation and will be one of the coordinators of the debate "Tourism sector and Cyclical economy" on Friday at 14:30.

Eighteen universities and scientific institutes, five environmental networks, five professionals unions and over seventy speakers will participate in the FORUM.

During the forum there will be 16 parallel sessions, 4 round table debates and 8 workshops. The ECOCITY Circular Economy Guidebook, a manual on the immplementation of the cyclical economy strategies will be prepared during the works of the forum.
