Τhe Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I visited Mati today and performed a trisagion in memory of the victims of the lethal fire of 23 July 2018.
At the end of the trisagion, the Ecumenical Patriarch took a bouquet of white roses and threw them into the sea.
Present at the ceremony was the Mayor of Rafina-Pikermi Evangelos Bournos, the former Mayor and current Secretary General Vassilis Pistikidis, the Mayor of Maroussi Giorgos Patoulis, the Deputy Mayor of Eastern Attica Petros Philippou, the Mayor of Marathon Ilias Psinakis, and relatives of the victims.
