Congratulations to Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro who celebrated their Greek Orthodox Wedding ceremony at Maria's father’s village of Akovos.
The excited bride shared videos and photos to her Instagram page of herself and her family getting ready.
In one of the clips, she is heard joking with Sotiri, her wedding planner and Koumbaro how her father invited so many guests to the wedding, compared to herself who only invited a few people.
As she took in the moments of getting ready as a bride and being glammed up by her hairstylist Dimitri Giannetos, Maria began singing Sakis Rouvas' song "Γιατί σε θέλω".
"I've been planning this for like maybe a month but really I have been planning this for a long time in my heart because I always wanted to return to Greece and do our wedding here. Greece means so much to us and our village and our roots and I'm so beyond thankful to all of our friends who put this together. My friend Sotiris said 'we don't need wedding planners we have all of our friends and we all love you and we want to help you' and honestly I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I have the best husband and the best family. Nothing is without its problems and nothing's perfect, but I am so blessed and so so happy today that we get to do this amazing wedding in this beautiful village that I want to move to, although I think Keven may divorce me and that would kinda suck, but it's so peaceful and so beautiful here" Maria stated moments before leaving to tie the knot.
Noting how her and Keven did get married during Fox’s New Year’s Eve live broadcast at New York’s Times Square, she said that getting married for a second time in Greece is like a "big official ceremony and reception", which she is so very excited about, before adding that even though she can't see Keven, she wanted to tell him that she loved him and that she will see him at the "alter boo."
