Weak seismic activity quake was detected in Ilia, in the prefecture of Achaia in the Peloponnese this morning at 1:10am according to the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens National Observatory.

The Observatory reported that the earthquake was 3.4 magnitude on the Richter scale, with the epicentre located 15 kilometers north of Amaliada, while the focal depth was estimated at about five kilometers.

Another report from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, suggested that the earthquake was 3.7 on the Richter scale, and the focus was three kilometers east of the Traganos community in northern Ilia.
